It's hard not to like Frida Kahlo and her art. Her original art is unaffordable and therefore you must acquire the Frida Kahlo feeling in a different way. Our Frida Kahko posters a great way to get Frida Kahlo into the décor and in those ways get a Frida Kahlo vibe.
Frida Kahlo (July 6, 1907 — July 13, 1954) was a Mexican painter and active communist.
Kahlo was born Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo y Calderon at her parents' house in Coyoacan, Mexico, which was then a suburb of Mexico City. Her father was a painter and photographer with German-Jewish roots, his family hailed from Oradea in Romania.
When, at 18, she was struck by an accident that left her disabled, Kahlo began to take an interest in painting rather than medicine. Her work was based on personal experience and was often shocking in her undisguised portrayal of pain and women's harsh lives. She was also influenced by the native Mexican culture, which she illustrated with bright colors, with a mixture of realism and symbolism.
